Pool Heaters and Wintertime Check-ups

Florida swimming poolWinter is coming, which means that it’s the time of the year to schedule check-ups for your pool’s heater.

While this may not seem like a big deal for most Floridians, proper maintenance is required to keep your heater running. This is especially important if you live on or near the ocean, due to the effect that the salty air has on the unit. Salt water and air wreak havoc on the electrical components of a heating pump.

No matter the heater, we will make sure that your pool is ready for the coming winter season.

Comprehensive System Check

Whether your pool’s heater is gas or electrical, you’ll want to have a professional give your unit a check-up before winter hits.
Here are just a few of the things that we will inspect during our complete system check:

The check-up will begin with an inspection of the general condition of the unit. We will perform a safety check on all gas or electrical connections, especially those exposed to salt water and air.
Our team will then inspect all electrical components and motors. We will scrutinize all safety features and make sure that they are completely free of rust and deterioration.

Proper inspections and appropriate maintenance will ensure a carefree and warm winter swim season.florida swimming pool

I like how you mentioned that it doesn’t matter if your pool’s heater is gas or electric, you should have a professional provide a check-up before winter hits. My wife and I are considering looking for a pool heater repair service because we noticed last week while filling it, the water wasn’t getting warm. I think it’s a good idea to consider hiring a reputable professional that can help us get our pool’s heater back in working condition again.
